< The Anasazi chased antelope in a tag-team fashion for 15 minutes straight until it ran out of breath and fell over -- then they'd suffocate it by putting corn cobs in its nose. Innovative! This is why their hides had no bullet or spear marks.
Here are the amazing cliff dwellings built and enjoyed by the Anasazi until they mysteriously disappeared in 1200 AD. The structures are built into natural caves set high above the floor of Canyon de Chelly -- a location that protects them from snow, rain, and canyon flooding. The Anasazi were clever engineers and excellent climbers! Some of these caves are 80 feet off the canyon floor, and the canyon walls are sheer sandstone.
