V As soon as we entered the marine sanctuary, we saw whales! It is so exciting to see these creatures in the wild. They breach and dive VERY quickly-- I was amazed at their speed; it took me several attempts to capture them on camera. These are both humpback whales. Did you know that researchers can determine the age of a whale by examining its ear wax?! |
