9/29/98 -- We Made It Home!
With only one police encounter and one AAA call for help (jump start), we made it home safe and sound. After getting cleaned up, sorting through 6 weeks of postal mail, visiting the grocery store and scheduling way-overdue haircuts, we found time to finish updating TripWatch with all of the latest pictures from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah, plus new haikus, a new "Places To See Next Time" page, and a page of some of our Favorite Things.

Thanks to everyone who followed the trip and wrote us mail; it really was a lot of fun!

9/20/98 -- Homeward Bound
You can tell from our map that we're headed back to California -- just a week or so left! A couple of celebrations we'll observe on the road: Our first wedding anniversary on the 22nd, and Tom's birthday on the 27th. (If you want to say congrats to Tom, email him at Tom@TripWatch.com and we'll forward it to him.)

9/9/98 -- Our Server Conked Out
Earlier this week our server had some problems -- thanks to Andy for getting it back up and running quickly. If you couldn't reach TripWatch or your mail to us bounced, please try again. And knock on wood!

8/31/98 -- Thought We Forgot You?
We had so much fun in New Orleans that we forgot to put up a new version of the site -- it's been a week, yikes! We usually get to email more often, though, so if you're wondering what's up or you know of something that we just shouldn't miss, send us mail.

8/30/98 -- Wherefore art thou, O Snapple
Something's missing from my daily routine.. I can't believe with the heat and humidity in the South that ice cold Raspberry Snapple Iced Tea isn't for sale everywhere. Ahhh, I can't wait until we get to New York!

Ok, so you scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the first gallery of pictures and, what?! No link to the next page? Well, no more .. now you can click back and forth to whichever page you want from the top or the bottom of the gallery. Thanks to Tom for the heads up.

8/21/98 -- Bigger Pictures Available
For those of you with fast 'net connections or patience, I've decided to upload both the scaled-down versions of the pictures as well as the original, large resolution ones. Just click the small version to see the large version -- which is really fantastic on some of the landscape pics. (Try using one of them (like this Arizona sunset) as a desktop background or wallpaper!)
