On our way back from Taos, we stopped in Los Alamos briefly to visit the Bradbury Science Museum and drive around the town to see what it was like. Los Alamos, "The City that Never Was," was the top secret scientific and military community that worked on the Manhattan Project during WWII. It wasn't a full stop on our trip, but it was interesting and we got a few pictures (see below). It really is tucked away in the middle of nowhere.
