< This is a Cray-1, which was used at LANL to do the supercomputing calculations of the day. The 1992-vintage Sun Sparc Ultra 10 workstation in the bottom right corner has the same computational capacity as the Cray-1 behind it. (Soon, your handheld PDA will probably have more memory and speed than either of these..) |
